twenty-one days

hello blog. hello writing. hello traveling. hello, again. 

i got to pack once more. this time for a trip that will last longer than a week. twenty-one days to be exact. i get to travel for twenty-one days because somehow, i am this lucky. 

so I did the usual pre-journey thing:

the freaking out 

the fitting everything in a backpack

the getting excited

the checking a million times for my passport (and making sure it hasn't expired, even when i have a google calendar event to go renew it in 2018)

the failing to plan

the freaking out again (because I doubted that china southern airlines was a real airline...)

the getting super excited and still being freaked out 

and the skipping the huge line because I can travel for three weeks with a carry-on backpack. 

i did the whole thing. well, almost. 

right now, i am sitting at a wine bar taking care of the last item on the list (before I go freak out again): drink some Sonoma wine to get me through the fourteen-hour flight. 

i'm going to Thailand, friends. i'm going to Thailand and most likely Myanmar ...and I gotta say: I CAN'T FREAKIN BELIEVE IT!!! 

i'll try to share as much as i can, and hopefully i'll write about the whole trip this time. please stay with me through the through the grammar horror and the ESL writing and i promise i'll do my best to put words around the prettiest pictures i can take.
